Woodpecker on Lichen Covered Tree

While enjoying a cup of coffee in my backyard in the late morning in early October, I could hear a woodpecker pecking at a tree in my neighbour's yard. I went to get my camera and waited for the bird to come into view. I was able to get this picture of it pecking away at the bark of this lichen covered locust tree for grubs, insects.
